As you may already know, Ryanair, the Irish low cost airline has decided to close the Bratislava - Frankfurt Hahn route as of April 29^th, 2010, leaving Germany in empty space on ex-Bratislava routes. As this announcement has affected many passengers heading not only to Germany, but also to Luxembourg and North France, we hope that the following news could help travelers to find new way to get to their favorite destinations.

Wizz Air, the Budapest-based low cost airline has announced at a press conference in Budapest last Friday that it would - among other new routes - re-start the Budapest - Frankfurt Hahn route three times a week as of July 24^th, 2010. Tickets are already on sale on wizzair.com with fares starting from as low as 22.49 € (one way, all inclusive).
