Ryanair, the Irish low cost airline confirmed that it will comply with EU261 regulations under which EU airlines are required to reimburse the reasonable receipted expenses of disrupted passengers. Under EU261 passengers are not entitled to compensation, as the closure of European airspace over the past seven days was beyond the control of European airlines. Ryanair flies from Bratislava Airport to more than 20 destinations in Europe.
