| Ryanair to Fly from Bratislava to Sardinia |

Ireland's budget airline Ryanair will extend the range of destinations it serves from Bratislava Airport. At the end of June it will starts flights to Sardinia, the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea after Sicily. The first flight from Bratislava to Alghero, the town of over 40,000, will take off on June 24. The route will be operated twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, Ryanair announced. Ryanair, which is the largest carrier at Bratislava Airport,
transported 142,500 passengers in the first two months of 2010, 71,000
of them in February. It currently operates about 20 scheduled flights
from Bratislava. |
